Educational Software Eligibility

Educational software is available only to: (a) students, faculty, and staff who currently attend or are employed by eligible accredited U.S. educational institutions, (b) accredited U.S. educational institutions, (c) and qualified home schools; (d) other approved educational entities. See Qualified Educational Buyers page for more information on who is eligible for educational software. CPE may refuse its services to anyone at any time, at our sole discretion.

Order Acceptance Policy

Your receipt of an electronic or other order confirmation does not signify CPE’s acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. CPE reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept, decline, or limit your order for any reason, whether or not your credit card has been charged. If your credit card has been charged and your order is canceled you will receive a prompt refund credit to your account. We may require additional verification or information before accepting any order. CPE reserves the right to limit the order quantity on any item and/or refuse service to any customer. CPE is an authorized academic software reseller to its qualified software customers and does not accept orders from exporters, wholesalers, or other customers who intend to resell the academic products offered by CPE.

Product Availability

Price and availability of products and services offered on the CPE sites are subject to change without prior notice. You should not rely on any information regarding the availability of products. You agree that CPE will not be liable for any lack of availability or price changes of products that you may order through this site.

CPE Products

The software products available for order through CPE are distributed on behalf of various software publishers who own or have the rights to provide the software to you. In ordering software through CPE, you are subject to the terms and conditions of the end-user license agreement accompanying such software as specified by the publisher. Your only remedy against CPE regarding any software issues lies in CPE's Return Policy. Otherwise, all of your rights and remedies with respect to your order, purchase, possession, and use of the software are governed by the end-user license between you and the publisher. The warranty, maintenance, liability, and any other obligations related to the software shall be as provided for in the end-user license, or with the software publishers' policies and procedures. CPE is not responsible for any software obligations. All recourse and remedy, if any, for the software obligations shall be with the publisher in accordance with the its end-user license, or its policies and procedures.

All non-software products and services available for order through CPE are distributed on behalf of third-party suppliers unless otherwise indicated. Except for the CPE Return Policy, all of your rights and remedies with respect to your purchase, possession, and use of the non-software products and the warranty, maintenance, liability, and any other obligations related to the non-software products shall be governed by the policies and procedures of the suppliers. CPE is not responsible for any of the non-software product's obligations, and its customers shall have no remedy against CPE for any such obligations.

Shipping Policy

For orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico please select Two Day Air or Overnight delivery, as these orders cannot be shipped via ground delivery.

CPE will always make every attempt possible to deliver product(s) ordered on time. CPE will make its best efforts to ship out product(s) within 24 hours of receipt of educational verification.

CPE is not responsible for any delays that may be caused by affiliated Shipping carriers.

CPE bears no responsibility for delays as a result of: Weather Storms, employee Strikes or any other complication caused on behalf of our affiliated Shipping carriers.

Return Policy

Products may only be returned in accordance with CPE’s published Return Policy within 20-days of delivery by first obtaining a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number prior to returning the product to CPE. Products returned to CPE without an RMA number will be subject to a 15% restocking fee or refusal at the discretion of CPE. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

Account Setup

In exchange for your use of CPE’s website, you agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself; and (b) maintain and update the information to keep it true, accurate, current, and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or CPE has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, CPE may suspend or terminate your account, cancel any order, and refuse any current or future use of the CPE’s website.

Username, Password and Security

You must choose a username and password during the account setup process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and your account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. You agree to (a) immediately notify CPE of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security, and (b) log off from your account after each session. You agree that CPE is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

Website Content

CPE does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of the Content on its website. CPE will not be liable for any Content, including, but not limited to, any errors (including typographical errors) or omissions in any Content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, emailed or otherwise transmitted.

Third-Party Content

CPE neither endorses nor is responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice, or statement made on CPE’s website by anyone other than authorized CPE employees. Under no circumstances shall CPE, or its affiliates, or any of its officers, directors, employees, or agents be liable for any loss or damage caused by a User's reliance on information obtained through CPE. It is the responsibility of User to evaluate the information, opinion, advice, or other Content available through CPE. CPE shall not be responsible for any damage or loss caused by the use of, or reliance on, any Content, goods or services available through any linked site.

Trademarks

The logo, trademarks and service marks of CPE may not be used in connection with any product or service that is not CPE's, in any manner that is likely to cause confusion among users, or in any manner that disparages or discredits CPE.

All trademarks and registered trademarks are used to display items for resale and without intent to infringe on the mark holder.

Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability

CPE’s website is provided on an "as is" basis. CPE disclaims any and all warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. No oral advice or written information given by CPE nor its affiliates, nor any of its officers, directors, employees, agents, providers, merchants, sponsors, licensers, or the like, shall create a warranty; nor shall user rely on any such information or advice. CPE is not responsible for printing or typographical errors. Price and availability are subject to change without notice. The information, Content, products and services contained or referred to on CPE website may be changed or updated without notice.

Neither CPE, nor its affiliates, nor any of its officers, directors, or employees, agents, third-party Content providers, merchants, sponsors, licensers, or the like, warrant that CPE’s website will be uninterrupted or error-free; nor do they make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of CPE’s website, or as to the accuracy, reliability, or currency of any information, Content, service or merchandise provided through CPE.

Termination of Usage

CPE, at its sole discretion, may terminate your username, password, account (or any part thereof) or use of CPE’s website for any reason, including, without limitation, if CPE believes that you have violated or acted inconsistently with the letter or spirit of the Terms of Use Agreement, or for any conduct that CPE, in its sole discretion, believes is in violation of any applicable law or is harmful to the interests of another User, a third-party Provider, a Merchant, a Sponsor, a Licenser, a service provider, or CPE.
